Based in the creative hub of Clerkenwell in London, award winning jewellery designer Emma Farquharson has been selling, exhibiting and teaching worldwide since the 1990’s.

Working intuitively, Emma’s ideas evolve out of her fascination and exploration of cosmology. She enjoys the technical process of making which allows the materials to direct and inform her work combining the traditional with the innovative.  Her deceptively effortless ‘Spun’ process transforms the simple technique of wrapping into something sophisticated and subtle.

Since first exhibiting in London at the Chelsea Crafts Fair in 1993 where she won the New Exhibitor's Award, Emma has embraced a career on both sides of the Atlantic.  On moving to New York where she lived for six years, she sold her sculptural designs in the Guggenheim Museum, and in various outlets around the country. Now having returned to London she sells through Electrum in London, at the annual Goldsmiths’ Fair and from her studio by appointment.
